Punxsutawney Area Community CenterScholarship FundThe purpose of the scholarship is to provide a graduating student from the Punxsutawney Area High School, SSCD Catholic School, Punxsutawney Christian School, or any other Punxsutawney area resident a grant toward further education.
To be eligible for this scholarship, all applicants must: 1. have filed an application with the Executive Director of the Center
2. have been a volunteer in/for the Center during the past twelve months
3. be admitted to an educational institution offering a minimum two-year accredited degree program.
4. be attending the educational institute on a full-time basis
5. submit along with their application an essay stating their purpose or reason for volunteering at the Center
Applications are available at the Center and in the guidance office of your school. Funds are raised through the Groundhog 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament.
